When I look back through the whole year and see how our class has grown I am just amazed at how much everyone has changed since the beginning of the year.

I think that the one place we all changed is Hornby camp because we were all in the same place for two whole nights and almost three days we all changed because we got to learn more about each other and we had to stay in the same place for most of the week. We changed physically we changed mentally and some of us just stayed the same. We all grew physically because we experienced tough times with the activities and some of us even got sick and puked (naming no names just follow this link) he wasn’t feeling well before but the salad must have just come right back up so we were all up really late and the next day we didn’t want to get out of bed. We all faced some challenges like Hayden flipping over in his kayak, my tent getting ripped, and many other things that I don’t have the attention span to list. So we all faced challenges especially at the climbing tower where no one wanted to go first but once it was there turn they just dominated it and felt great.  We all really liked the food because it tasted so good and after that I think we all wanted to go back to the good food of Hornby.

Everybody has grown this year in more ways than you can count but after everything that we have done in Div.16 I think that everyone had a very memorible year.

Hey everybody. Today’s post is inspired by the one on Chelsea’s blog. Chelsea asked us to write a post about what we want to be in the future. My future career choices I think would be either a robotics person or a mechanic (which ever one pays better).

The reason I want to be a robotics person is because I would get to build really cool robots that could help people. I would also like to be a robotics person because I could sell my robots for a lot of money and then keep some for myself so they can do stuff like clean up my house. I think that it would be really fun because I would get to make up designs for robots and it sounds really cool because I really like building stuff and I have some really cool toy cars that you get to build and you can make all different designs. I also think that a robotics person would be a cool job because when I don’t need the robots anymore I can make a robot that will blow them up or turn them into scraps.

The reason I want to be a mechanic is because I really like fixing machines and I think it would be really cool to learn about.I also want to become a mechanic because it looks really fun because you get to fix cars and trucks and work with really cool tools like welding torches. I also think that it would be a fun job because you would get paid quite a bit of money and I would be able to take a few bits of broken cars and then I could build something really cool that I might be able to sell for a bit.

Well, those are the reasons that I want to become either a robotics person or a mechanic. But I guess that is still quite far off so right now I will just stick with making little car robots.

I am always thinking about these cool things to do but the thing is I probably wont get to do them until I graduate from college or university but that doesn’t mean that I cant make plans to do them then. So here is five things that I would like to do before I die.

1. To own a ferret because they are just awesome☻.
2. To buy a house with a built in pool because then I could go swimming whenever I want.
3. To someday get into the Olympics because even if you don’t win you can still say “I’ve been in the Olympics.”
   
4. I would like to revisit Monterosso al Mare because I went there two summers ago and it was really fun.
5. I would like to go to New Zealand because my friend Julian says it’s really fun.

Well, there are the five things I want to do before I die but I guess I’ll just have to wait to do them… But I can still look forward to them in the future☻.

If I had a chance to go into space and could only bring 5 items then I would bring the following personnel items.

1. A bone book signed by the author because I can read bone books hundreds of times without getting bored.
2.  My little glass fishy that I got in Germany which makes it really special.
3.  An owl feather because I love owls.
4. An Edmonton Oilers flag because my mom is from Edmonton.
5.  And a picture of my family.

Well thats what I would bring into space. See you all next time.

Hi everybody today I am going to write about six things that make me happy just like Ms.Wyatt did on her blog. So here goes.

1. Videogames because I mean there just plain fun.
2. Julian’s dog Ubu because he is pro.
3. My friends because they always encourage me.
4. My grey cat Shrek because he is always nice to me.
5. When people give me gifts because who doesn’t like free stuff.
6. And last widgets on peoples blogs because some of them are really fun.

Hi everybody today’s post is inspired by the one on Hayden’s blog about 7 things you may not know about me so here goes.

1. I have had a chicken on my head when I worked at a farm.
2. I like lots of cheese on my pizza.
3. I always have tons of candy.
4. I am almost always playing a video game at home when i’m there.
5. I really like monkey’s.
6. I have seen someone extract DNA from a banana.
7. And my favourite food is pie.

Well, those are seven things that you may not know about me. By the way I am tagging Rebecca, Michael T and Nicholas.

Hey everybody today’s post is about what happened today at school. By the title I guess you know what happened. The high school next to us did a performance at our school and it was really good. There were drums, flutes, clarinets and my all time favourite the guitar and that’s only naming a few 

I think that if I ever went into the band at that high school I would probably play the electric guitar because I’ve been meaning to learn it but I never got to and I think that it would be a really fun instrument to play and I would really enjoy learning how to play it.

Well, thats the instrument I would like to play. What instrument or instruments would you like to play?

Hey everybody, today’s post is inspired by the one on Bringing Us Together. Now I would probably have to say that I have quite an odd special place.

Of course you probably know my friend Julian by now right. You’re probably wondering why I am talking about him right now aren’t you well the reason I am talking about him is because my special place is in his house (to be more precise his computer room). I go there almost every single day and kind of think of it as my special place. We usually play Maplestory which you know of because of one of my earlier posts. But yes my special place is actually in Julian’s house. The best thing about Julian’s house is that all of his family has their own computers and they have a totally tricked out games room with a GIANT T.V, a Wii, a ps2 and a couch that doubles as a bed.

I am actually surprised that I am not deaf because his sister always has her music at its MAX volume. But if we aren’t playing on the computer then we are probably on his Wii playing Zelda Twilight Princess, thinking of something to do or we are outside on his trampoline.

Well, that’s my special place I hope you enjoyed this post. Bye.

“I bet my robot can pick up the tennis ball faster than yours can pick up the juice box” taunted Brenden, “No way my robot can own yours in a race to pick up a juice box” Alex retorted,” I seriously doubt that!” Brenden yelled back, “Then we’ll have a race, five o-clock, right here today,” Alex said back.” Deal, but we can make any modifications we want on the robots.” Brenden said back, and so the battle began…

So the two friends went their ways and immediately started working on their robots. But neither of them thought of any modifications to put on the robots. So they thought, and they thought, and they thought some more and well you get the idea. So at five o-clock they came to the track and began the race to see whose robot is better at picking things up. The track was a bunch of windy curves and the contestants (Alex and Brenden) have to pick up the juice box (or the tennis ball) and take it to the end of the track and whoever completes the race first is the winner.

“On your mark, get set, GO!” The referee shouted. Then BAM both the robots came dashing out to collect their objects. Both the Vexplorer (Alex’s robot) and the Vexbot (Brenden’s robot) quickly “ran” out to get their objects. The Vexbot quickly found its tennis ball and tried to pick it up but it kept rolling away. Meanwhile the Vexplorer had already picked up the juice box but had experimented some technical difficulties because it got stuck in one of the windy curves so both competitors were stuck. Finally the Vexbot picked up the tennis ball with its crane type conveyor belt and was speeding through the course. But wait the Vexplorer has just gotten out of the windy curve it was stuck in and is now catching up to the Vexbot. “It’s gonna be a photo finish” the referee yelled, and just at that moment both the robots finished. “And the winner is… It’s a tie?” The referee sounded confused “What!” Both Brenden and Alex said at the same time. “I guess I was wrong to think that my robot is better” Brenden apologized, “No it’s my fault” Alex said back, “O well at least we’re still friends” Brenden said.

P.S this never actually happened.

Hey everybody, today’s post is inspired by the one on Bringing us Together about wishing.

So if I had one wish that I couldn’t use on myself but I could use it on anybody in the world I would have to wish that my sister gets into her university because she is really stressing out. Also because she has spent so much time trying to improve her skills and if you ask me it looks really stressful because your always studying and it is just really hard on her.

Well, thats my wish, that my sister gets into university. Well, see you all next time.
